Do you seek a journey of meaningful and lasting growth?

Congratulations on taking this personal and brave step in beginning or returning to therapy!

I’m Lisa Eblen, a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing individual psychotherapy to motivated adults.

Clients often come to me feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, or “stuck”. I provide a safe and judgment-free space to unpack difficult emotions and experiences.

My approach is person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. My client is the expert of their experience, I am an unbiased collaborator. Through this relationship and honest conversations, I help clients to improve their understandings of past events, gain insight into the present, and embrace their future. I blend my advanced training in psychoanalysis with other evidence-based modalities to promote change.

My 10+ years experience include outpatient substance abuse and mental health treatment, fee-for-service psychotherapy, and community-based organizations throughout New York City. In these settings, I worked with diverse populations which have enabled me to become a dynamic and inclusive practitioner.

In life, we are often faced with challenges and it can get pretty dark. Shining a light on your inner strength is necessary to heal and thrive. I am dedicated to help you do just that!

Endorsements:
